Marcus Wade Perryman, of Belleview, FL, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2022. He was only 50 years old. Family and friends are both devastated and shocked by his death. Marcus was born on May 24, 1972 in Americus, GA. In addition to his parents, Buddy and Brenda of Ocklawaha, FL, Marcus leaves behind his son, Marcus Kyle Perryman of Ocala, Florida, and his sister and nephews, Serena (Perryman), Piercen, and Teague Mendola of Kansas.

Marcus attended Forest High School and studied to be an automotive paint technician at Central Florida Community College, working for years in his field perfecting his craft. Marcus could fix anything and was an excellent handyman, landscaper, and mechanic for family and friends. He didn’t need sheet music to play just about anything on guitar. But sadly he never realized his dream of becoming the next Eddie Van Halen, although he certainly looked the part, riding his Harley and sporting long blonde hair. Other hobbies he enjoyed were star-gazing through his telescope, photography, and creating beautiful artwork.

Anyone who knew Marcus, knew his door was always open and he was always ready and willing to help a friend in need. He was an awesome son, father, brother and friend! Those who knew him have their own stories to tell. Family and friends are invited to enjoy some BBQ and share their memories from noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday November 12, 2022 as we celebrate Marcus’ life, at The Kiwanis Club on Lake Weir, 15380 Southeast 140th Avenue Road, Lake Weir, FL 32195.
